Female Voices in Medieval Literature (international and interdisciplinary workshop)
This workshop examines the creation, performance, and power of female voices in medieval German, English, and Scottish literatures. By thinking more carefully about gendered speech in medieval literature, and whether this gendering produces exclusively feminine voices, this workshop seeks to encourage innovative readings and reassessments of imaginative writing across the medieval period.
