I joined the Brain Language Lab as a student assistant in March 2022. I am currently in the final stages of the Master's program Linguistics at the Humboldt-University Berlin with a focus on phonetics and linguistic variation and have worked in experimental phonetics at the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics Berlin from 2019 to 2022. Before this, I completed my BA in English Linguistics and Literature at the LMU Munich and studied Modern Languages at the University of Exeter. In the Brain Language Lab, I support my team in the project "Material Constraints Enabling Human Cognition". I assist the lab members with preparing experimental stimuli and providing a detailed description of their linguistic properties.
ProfilIch studiere Linguistik im Master an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin mit den Schwerpunkten Phonetik und sprachliche Variation und war von 2019 bis 2022 als studentische Hilfskraft in der Laborphonetik am Leibniz-Zentrum Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft angestellt. Im Bachelor habe ich Anglistik an der LMU München und Modern Languages an der University of Exeter studiert. Seit März 2022 arbeite ich im Brain Language Lab und unterstütze mein Team im Projekt „Material Constraints Enabling Human Cognition“. Hier assistiere ich beim Erstellen von experimentellen Stimuli und einer genauen Beschreibung dieser sprachlichen Daten auf verschiedenen linguistischen Ebenen.
