The  International Research Training Group „Interart Studies“ cooperates with Copenhagen Doctoral School in Cultural Studies in Denmark. The Copenhagen Doctoral School is dedicated to cross-disciplinary research in historical and contemporary art and culture on the basis of an understanding of culture as a heterogeneous, dialogic and dynamic field. Doctoral candidates participate in a regular exchange programme and joint events with Copenhagen Doctoral School. 

In addition, the International Research Training Group is connected to Goldsmiths College of the University of London and to Columbia University, New York.
