From October 27, 2017 to March 4, 2018, we are holding an exhibition at the Berlin Museum of Medical History at the Charité to introduce the growing genre of graphic illness narratives to a wider German audience. Illustrators, doctors, cartoonists, patients, healthcare professionals, artists, authors and caregivers were invited to submit self-contained comics dealing with illness, disability or caregiving. The show includes comic art from eight different countries.
