Navigating the ‚Shark Tank‘. Power Games and micropolitical Competence in Academia
The 2-module workshop provides you some knowledge to systematically grasp manifestations of the everyday uses of power in organizations and the „games“ played in your own environment.
An opportunity is given to reflect on your own power resources, to identify strategies for successful ‚navigation‘, and to gain perspective on how to further enhance your personal micropolitical competence pursuant to the workshop – whether in academia or elsewhere.

In this workshop you will learn about
- science system and organization (focus on Germany)
- micropolitics, power games, power resources
- typical 'arenas' in academia
- roles / game positions
- rooms for maneuvre & micropolitical tools.
