The introduction and the conclusion are essential parts of the text: They are the beginning and the end of whatever you are trying to say and therefore have a special importance for your readers and for you as the author of the text.
In this workshop, you will learn about the basic function of these parts of academic texts. We will look at best-practice examples from the literature and explore our expectations as readers of introductions and conclusions. And you will get text feedback for an introduction and a conclusion you are currently working on (or have written in the past).
