2010
The Sixth International Contrastive Linguistics Conference (ICLC6)
September 30th - October 2nd, 2010
The aim of the International Contrastive Linguistics Conference 2010 is to encourage the fine-grained comparative analyses between two (or more) languages from different theoretical perspectives and with different goals. Although contrastive linguistics has long been associated primarily with applied linguistics (in particular foreign language teaching), it is here seen as a subdiscipline of comparative linguistics with major theoretical implications, which may contribute to our understanding of cross-linguistic and language-internal variation.
