Studying at the Institute for Theater Studies
About 400 new students start their studies at the Institute of Theater Studies every year. In the combined bachelor's degree, theater studies and film studies can be studied together. With over 30 possible subject combinations, students can tailor their studies according to their interests. For example, Theater Studies or Film Studies can be combined with Business Administration, Computer Science, Archaeology, Art History or Political Science in addition to numerous humanities subjects. In addition to the two Bachelor's programs in Theater Studies and Film Studies, four Master's programs are offered at the Institute: Theater Studies, Dance Studies, Film Studies, Musicology and Culture and Media Management.
There are also opportunities for study abroad and doctoral studies.
